and Peggy are the owners and are wonderful to chat with. You
can snorkel and swim in either the ocean or the cenote. Their
Sunday Bar-B-Q is always delicious. Open for Breakfast, Lunch
and Dinner. 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM

an afternoon snack. Always has great music playing for you.
this is what you think of when you think of Jimmy Buffet and
Margarita Ville. Located on the main street in Tulum next
to the fresh fruit market.

Stone fried Pizza. This is a gourmet European pizza. Located
on the "main drag" in Tulum, this is great for something
different.

This wonderful Italian restaurant is located on the beach
10 minutes south of the ruins of Tulum. The atmosphere is
romantic and tropical. The food… exceptional. The service…
outstanding. Take the Boca Paila road, to the left, towards
the beach. At the "T" turn right and continue on
that road (it turns to dirt) for about 10 minutes. It is well
worth the trip. Open for Lunch and Dinner.
 Zamas
On the ocean with the waves crashing you will enjoy exquisite
dining. Authentic Mexican food and fabulous
seafood, fresh daily. Take the Boca Paila road, to the left,
towards the beach. At the "T" turn right and continue
on that road (it turns to dirt) for about 10 minutes. It is
well worth the trip. Open for dinner. Go early and enjoy a
walk along to ocean.

Y Jose'
Located on the beach 10 min south of the Tulum ruin. You will
dine on the sand in a screened in dining area. Take the Boca
Paila road, to the left, towards the beach. At the "T"
turn right and continue on that road (it turns to dirt). Anna
Y Jose' is to the left. Try the Mayan Coffee for desert. This
takes three men to accomplish this show/desert of streaming,
flaming, coffee and Kailua.
 Los
Ranitas
Walk along the ocean, and finish your day with fine dining
in an enclosed dining area overlooking the crashing waves.
A wide variety of chicken, fish, and beef dishes. Take the
Boca Paila road, to the left, towards the beach. At the "T"
turn right and continue on that road (it turns to dirt) for
about 20 - 30 minutes.
Akumal

Bay - Akumal
Fifteen minutes to the north (towards Cancun) is the American
settlement of Akumal. In this little community you will find
this wonderful restaurant and bakery. Only open until 4:00
PM, this charming location is wonderful for fresh fruit smoothies
and quiches along with delicious salads and sandwiches. The
bakery has "to die for" goodies. Go early if you
want to bring something home. They sell out fast.
